Membership

These estates are held in private and long term family ownership. Collectively, their assets include rural and agricultural acreage, urban, commercial and residential property, in central London and elsewhere; as well as other diversified investments and assets.

Most estates include a mansion house of architectural and historical importance often containing major art collections and EBG estates own and maintain over 5,000 listed buildings. EBG estimates that around 35 estates in Britain meet its criteria for membership.
